Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Dudley, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £33k + Training & Benefits
Due to recent company growth, our client is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover new and existing contracts in the Midlands region. Applicants must have strong hands-on experience of undertaking ACOP L8 compliance duties, including: showerhead descales, TMV servicing and routine sampling and monitoring. The company are a well-known name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, with a growing portfolio of client sites. You will be covering sites across: Dudley, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich, Birmingham, Halesowen, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Penkridge, Burntwood, Lichfield, Tamworth, Rugeley, Stafford, Droitwich Spa, Stafford, Royal Leamington Spa, Coventry, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Rugby, Swadlincote, Burton upon Trent, Rugby, Leicester, Coalville, Beeston, Derby, Nottingham, Loughborough.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
- Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Experience working across a range of commercial and public sector sites
- Good literacy and IT skills
- Hardworking attitude
- Flexible to travel as required
The Role:
- You will be attending client premises to carry out routine ACOP L8 compliance tasks
- Showerhead descales
- TMV servicing
- Tank inspections, cleans and disinfections
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Updating site logbooks and completing regular service reports
- Working to agreed deadlines
