Water Hygiene Engineer
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
Location: North East England

Penguin Recruitment is hiring on behalf of an industry-leading water treatment company with 35+ years of experience. We're seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer with a minimum of 5 years in the field to join their team.
Responsibilities
Conduct closed system analytical testing, remediation, and pre-commission flushing.
Perform tank inspections, water sampling, and ACOP L8 compliance tasks.
Clean/disinfect water storage tanks, cooling towers, and shower heads.
Service/install water softeners (Clack, Fleck, Autotrol) and RO systems.
Carry out TMV testing, calorifier pasteurisation, and dead leg removals.
Requirements
5+ years' experience in water treatment/hygiene.
Relevant water hygiene qualifications and technical knowledge.
Full UK driving license.
Proactive and organised with excellent communication skills.
Flexibility to travel and work overtime as needed.
