Water Hygiene Engineer- Looking for regional work?
£28000-£35000 + Benefits including company van, training and team overtime.
My client, a rapidly expanding water treatment company headquartered in London, are currently looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to be based in their Midlands team covering commercial projects across the Midlands only region.
This Water Hygiene Engineer opportunity arises from additional projects going live in November. Existing projects include – local government, education, health care, communal residential.
You will be responsible for carrying out as range of duties including:
* Conducting regular temperature monitoring to ensure water systems remain within safe operational limits.
* Performing Legionella sampling to assess water quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) to maintain optimal performance and prevent scalding risks.
* Carrying out thorough cleaning and disinfection of water storage tanks to prevent contamination.
* Cleaning and descaling showerheads to minimize bacterial growth and maintain hygiene standards.
The ideal Water Hygiene Engineer will have as much of the following as possible:
* Demonstrated experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Water Hygiene Technician or similar.
* In-depth knowledge of Legionella Control and compliance with industry guidelines such as HSG274 and ACOP L8.
* Any industry qualifications would be seen as beneficial
* Full driving licence
* Have excellent communication skills with the ability to foster effective relationships both within the team and on-site with clients.
