Job Description
Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber
Location: North West (Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire)
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out temperature monitoring and water sampling
Perform cold water storage tank cleans and disinfections
Complete TMV servicing and showerhead descaling
Conduct mains chlorinations/injections
Support closed system flushing, testing, and balancing (acid descale experience advantageous)
Undertake cooling tower and steam boiler cleaning/testing (desirable but not essential)
Perform dead leg removals, pipework modifications (plastic, copper, and steel)
Carry out tank replacements, expansion vessel works, and other remedial plumbing tasks
Hold NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum qualification)Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Water Hygiene or Plumbing role
Sound knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274
Strong communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence (clean)
Self-motivated, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a teamSalary & Benefits:
Salary: £27,000 - £32,000 (DOE)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
