Job Title: Water Hygiene Technician
Location: Midlands-based (nationwide travel required)
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 DOE + overtime & benefits
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
The Opportunity
We’re working with a leading compliance services provider who are looking to add a Water Hygiene Technician to their expanding team. The Role
As a Water Hygiene Technician, you’ll be carrying out a full range of compliance-based tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2, working across commercial, healthcare, and industrial sites nationwide.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Temperature monitoring and accurate reporting
* Showerhead and tap cleaning/descaling
* Expansion vessel flushing
* Internal inspections of cold-water tanks and calorifiers
* Calorifier blow downs
* Microbiological sampling
* TMV removal, servicing and failsafe testing
* Cold Water Storage Tank cleans and system disinfections
* Mains injection disinfections
Desirable (but not essential):
* Logbook review & compliance reporting
* Legionella risk assessments on hot & cold-water systems
* CAD schematics (AutoCAD)
About You
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is well-presented, and represents the business professionally at all times. You should be IT literate with excellent attention to detail and reporting skills.
This role is physically demanding at times, with restricted access, heavy lifting, and confined space work involved (training will be provided).
Requirements:
* 2+ years’ water hygiene experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel & stay away as required
