Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join our growing team.
Working across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality water treatment services in line with ACoP L8, HSG 274, BS 8558, and industry best practices.
This is a mobile role requiring regular travel to client sites, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Carrying out water treatment and hygiene services including:
* Closed heating/chilled system testing and dosing
* Cooling tower maintenance and water quality checks
* Domestic & treament water sampling
* Chemical dosing and flushing works
* Softener servicing & installs (training provided)
* Chlorine dioxide servicing and installs (training provided)
✔ Carryout/support grounds work team with:
* Leak detection
* Lead replacement
* Mains connections & chlorination
* Mouling
* Open trench pipe laying
* Electrofusion welding
* Ferrel drilling
✔ Interpreting test results and recommending corrective actions
✔ Provide support with clear, accurate service reports and documentation
✔ Supporting clients with technical advice and guidance
✔ Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and environmental awareness
✔ Support team with new business sales
Requirements:
✔ Previous experience in water treatment or environmental services
✔ Full UK driving license (Essential)
✔ Understanding of Legionella control and water hygiene regulations (ACoP L8, HSG 274)
✔ Ability to carry out physical tasks (working at height, confined spaces, manual handling)
✔ Excellent communication and customer service skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ IT literacy for report writing and electronic documentationBefore You Apply
