We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Water Treatment / Water Hygiene specialist, who has a strong presence in the South East of England. They are seeking a hardworking and experienced Water Treatment / Plumbing Engineer who can confidently undertake a diverse range of L8 compliance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and good interpersonal skills in order to maintain strong relationships with clients. Our client can consider candidates from the following locations: Dartford, Gravesend, Chatham, Orpington, Bromley, Croydon, Sidcup, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Epsom, Kingston upon Thames, Hounslow, Ilford, Romford, Grays, Tilbury, Basildon, Billericay, Twickenham, Weybridge, Redhill, Caterham, Guildford, Woking.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have a successful track record working as a Water Treatment / Plumbing Engineer
- It is essential to hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum
- It would be beneficial to hold the G3 Unvented ticket
- Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Flexible to travel as the company requires
The Role:
- Undertaking a wide variety of ACOP L8 compliance and remedial duties
- Cleans & disinfections on cooling towers
- CWST inspections, cleans & disinfections
- Deadleg removals
- RPZ valve testing
- Pipework adjustments and reroutes
- TMV servicing and replacements
- Tank refurbishments
- Showerhead descales
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
