Job Title: Water Treatment Technician / Plumber
Location: County Durham
Salary: £33,000 (including standby) + paid travel, van provided with fuel card, 1 in 4 callout
Hours: 40 hour week (Monday - Friday)
Role Overview:
Support maintenance operations by delivering planned/reactive plumbing and water hygiene tasks across multiple sites. Responsibilities include water temperature monitoring, Legionella control (ACoP L8/HSG 274), plumbing repairs, installations, and minor fabric tasks. Use of PDAs and digital logbooks required. Participation in out-of-hours rota expected.
Essential:
Relevant trade apprenticeship (C&G NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of water hygiene regulations
Full UK driving licence
Ability to obtain NPPV2 Police Vetting
Desirable:
Legionella training (C&G or similar)
Water treatment experience
IOSH / CSCS card
Multi-discipline FM skills
