Weekend Production Supervisor
Location: Wolverhampton, WV10 7EL
Salary: Competitive, DOE
Contract: Permanent Weekend Shift
Hours (Paid breaks included):
Week 1: Monday, Saturday & Sunday – 06:00 to 18:00
Week 2: Friday, Saturday & Sunday – 06:00 to 18:00
Play a key role in keeping production running smoothly over the weekend!
We are looking for an organised and confident Weekend Production Supervisor to oversee operations, staff, and activities during weekend shifts. This is a hands-on leadership role, ensuring smooth production flow, high-quality output, and strong team performance in a busy manufacturing environment.
The Role
As Weekend Production Supervisor, you will lead your shift team to achieve maximum efficiency, meet production targets, and maintain quality standards. You will act as the first point of contact for any operational issues, ensuring they are resolved quickly and effectively.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Leading production personnel to achieve optimum results.
• Planning work for the team and delivering clear instructions and expectations.
• Ensuring all shift operatives follow company procedures and policies.
• Maintaining product quality by enforcing company standards.
• Managing effective shift handovers with accurate information transfer to other departments.
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring PPE is worn at all times.
• Supporting hygiene standards and ensuring all work areas meet manufacturing requirements.
• Working collaboratively with other departments to achieve operational goals.
About You
We’re looking for a confident leader who can keep production running smoothly under pressure. You will bring:
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge when needed.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and hygiene in manufacturing environments.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to undergo training to further develop your skills.
