Role Description
Join Our Team as a Weekend Support Worker
Location:Tadley, Hampshire
Salary:£12.60 per hour (£9,828 per annum) plus benefits. Sleep-ins are compulsory and are paid at an additional £50 per sleep.
Hours:15 hours per week, Saturdays and Sundays only.
Shifts - Early: 07:00am - 15:00pm
Late: 13:30pm - 21:30pm
Contract:Part Time, permanent.
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential in this role.
Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.

What will you be doing?
As a Support Worker, you'll have the incredible opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life, guiding and empowering them to achieve their fullest potential!
You'll be right there with them, offering support and encouragement as they navigate challenges and celebrate successes. You'll be instrumental in helping someone achieve their best life! Here's what you'll be doing:
Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holiday’s, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.
Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality. Who you will be Supporting?
Fir Tree Lodge is a 10-bed purpose-built residential home, for adults with complex care needs, learning disabilities and sight loss. Some of the people we support do have behaviours that can challenge. However, with the support of our amazing team, who are positive, non-judgemental, and have a consistent approach, they deliver exceptional care!
As we are growing, we are looking to strengthen our support worker family, to share in future successes and fulfil and empower lives. The people we support all need a helping hand with all aspects of daily living, from personal care and making sure nutritional needs are met. Being physically fit is key, as some of the people we support are wheelchair users and also use hoists to support mobility.
The people we support are a very active and passionate group who spend a lot of time getting out and about and engaging within the local community. Some of the activities they love include, music therapy, arts and crafts, swimming and spending time in the accessible garden. Your support will help us to continue to create unforgettable moments and memories and provide the highest quality of care to the people we support!
