Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Administrator to join a busy site in St Albans. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys administrative work with an operational focus. You will be responsible for accurately operating the weighbridge, processing data, and supporting site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the weighbridge system to accurately record vehicle weights in and out of the site
Check and input data onto internal systems with accuracy and attention to detail
Generate and issue weighbridge tickets and delivery documentation
Communicate effectively with drivers, site operatives, and other departments
Maintain accurate records for compliance and reporting purposes
Ensure site procedures and health & safety protocols are followed at all times
Carry out general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and handling queries
Requirements:
Previous experience in a weighbridge, logistics, waste management, or similar environment is desirable
Strong administrative and data entry skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Good IT skills – competent with Microsoft Office and data systems
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy environmentBefore You Apply
