Job Description
Welder/ Fabricator
£28,400 to £38,000 (depending on experience)
Ulverston, South Cumbria
Hours of work: Mon to Thurs 7.30am – 4.30pm, Fri 7.30am – 12.45pm (38 hours per week)

Due to current growth in our city product range, we have a vacancy for a Fabricator/Welder.
The Role
• Perform general fabrication and Tig welding of various forms of circular and square hollow section stainless steel fabrications
• Use of a wide range of fabrication machinery
• Using jigs to fabricate parts
• Read, understand and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings and works order instructions.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards
The Person
• Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel preferred but not essential
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Flexible attitude to overtime when required
• The ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible “can do” attitude to work and good work ethic is essential
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
