Location: Camberley, Surrey Salary: £14-£20 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: 08.00 - 17.00 Contract: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week - overtime available) The opportunity Wilabb Ltd is looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our skilled and established engineering team in Camberley. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. You will be responsible for TIG and MIG welding and fabricating a varied range of components and assemblies, working from engineering drawings and specifications to produce work to a high standard. Key responsibilities * Carrying out high-quality TIG and MIG welding working with stainless, mild steel and aluminium. * Fabricating components accurately to engineering specifications. * Reading, interpreting and working confidently from engineering drawings * Measuring, marking, cutting and preparing materials * Assembling fabricated components and structures * Ensuring completed work meets the required quality standards and tolerances * Inspecting finished components and identifying any defects or inaccuracies * Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised workspace * Collaborating with the Directors and wider production team to meet customer requirements and deadlines. Skills and experience required The successful candidate will have: * Previous experience working as a Welder/Fabricator * Strong TIG and MIG welding skills * The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings * Good fabrication, measuring and assembly skills * Excellent attention to detail * A commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work * A practical, methodical and safety-conscious approach * The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team * A reliable and positive attitude Experience gained within a precision engineering, sheet-metal, manufacturing or similar environment would be advantageous.
