Welder/Fabricator – Factory Based**
Location: Huddersfield
Rate: £16.00-£18.00p/h
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am- 4:15pm, 37 hours p/w
Overtime Rates available
Temp to Perm
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team, working on a variety of welding and fabrication tasks to meet industry standards. The role will involve welding on a wide range of materials and pipe sizes in a factory-based environment, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Welding to ASME IX and ISO3834 requirements.
Plating and welding on Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex materials (3mm to 100mm thick plate).
Pipe welding on Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex materials (½” to 12” pipe SCH10 to SCH80).
Proficient in welding processes: GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW (1G and 6G positions).
Oxy/Acetylene cutting.
Plasma cutting.
Operation of JIB cranes and overhead cranes.
Slinging and lifting operations, ensuring safety at all times.
Requirements:
Extensive experience in welding and fabrication.
Proficiency in welding Carbon steel, Stainless steel, Duplex, and Super Duplex.
Ability to operate welding processes such as GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, and SAW in 1G and 6G positions.
Experience with oxy/acetylene and plasma cutting.
Skilled in operating JIB cranes and overhead cranes.
Strong awareness of safety standards, including slinging and lifting procedures.
Weld Test on site required
