Job Description
Job Title: MIG Welder – Waste & Jig Departments
Location: G82
Salary: £14.60 per hour (base rate) + bonus scheme (typically around £16.00 after 12 weeks)
Shifts:
*
6am – 2pm Monday to Friday (rotating shifts)
*
2pm – midnight Monday to Thursday (rotating shifts)
About the Role:
We’re looking for skilled MIG Welders to join our growing team! We have two key areas hiring:
1. Jig Department:
*
Focus on high-volume, fast-paced welding.
*
Mainly short welds on jigs with a strong emphasis on sequencing.
*
No drawing reading required.
*
FLT license is helpful but not essential.
2. Waste Department:
*
Fabrication and welding of heavier, more substantial components.
*
Ability to read and work from technical drawings essential.
*
Welding in multiple positions including overhead.
*
FLT license preferable but not essential.

Requirements:

Proven experience in MIG welding
*
For Waste Department: ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (especially for Jig Department)
