Job Description
Welder / Fabricator required to join a leading subcontract manufacturing specialist company that is based in the Milton Keynes area. The successful candidate will have experience with Mig / Tig welding and ideally worked with Mild steel and Stainless steels.
Welder / Fabricator Job Overview
Carry out MIG, TIG, on a wide range of materials (e.g., mild steel, stainless steel)
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Work closely with the laser cutting, CNC machining, and turning teams to ensure components are fabricated and assembled to tolerance.
Carry out quality checks to ensure all welded and fabricated products meet required standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with company H&S policies.
Assist with continuous improvement activities to increase efficiency and product quality.
Welder / Fabricator Job Requirements
Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
Competent in MIG and TIG welding (laser welding advantageous).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Knowledge of workshop health & safety standards.
Based within a commutable distance of Milton Keynes
