Welder/Fabricators x 3
Jenrick Engineering are seeking 3 x skilled Fabricator/Welders to join our clients team on a straight permanent contract. The ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques.
Salary - up to £36,000 per annum depending on experience and shifts
Hours - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, Various shifts to choose from.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques, ensuring strong and durable joints.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and finish metal materials.
Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
Qualifications
2 years minimum experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of mechanical principles.
Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Familiarity with sheet metal work is advantageous.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A valid welding certification is preferred but not mandatory.
