Job Description
We’re hiring for a Welder/Fabricator to join a growing mechanical engineering business based in Chapel-en-le-Frith.
You’ll spend most of your time out on-site, with occasional work in the workshop, fabricating and installing mild steel components for bespoke projects.
What’s on offer?
* £18 - £20 per hour
* Mon – Fri | 8am – 4pm
* 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

* Travel expenses paid (+ nightly allowance)

What will you be doing as a Welder/Fabricator?
* MIG and stick welding on mild steel (3mm – 25mm)
* Fabricating and installing structural steelwork and pipework
* Working with 6” pipe and 6mm plate materials
* Using plasma cutters and general fabrication tools
* Completing high-quality work both on-site (80%) and in the workshop (20%)
What do you need?
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication
* Confident in MIG and stick welding
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel for site work
