In this role, the successful Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for performing a variety of welding task, most predominantly using the MIG technique. You will work on a rotating shift pattern (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, swapping shifts every week). In addition, you will be responsible for creating a number of pipework products, ensuring they meet both company standards as well as customer requirements, keeping accurate technical documentation of projects worked. On top of this, you will be responsible for conducting quality checks on any finished works, making certain they meet customer specification, as well as coming in line with health and safety standards. Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring you maintain a clean and safe working environment.
The ideal Welder/Fabricator or similar will have a background within the Sheet Metal industry as well as previous working experience with both MIG and TIG Welding techniques, or a related manual welding technique (stick etc…). In addition, you will also have the ability to understand and interpret technical drawings. On top of this, you will be happy to work both autonomously as well as part of a team. Finally, you will be happy to work on a rotating shift pattern.
