Our client is a well established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to carry out steel fabrication, assembly, installation and repair of sheet metal products and equipment.
Salary: £16.58 - £18.82 per hour depending on experience.
Hours of work: 39 hours per week, 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, and Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

* You will be an Apprentice trained, or workshop experienced Welder / Fabricator with MIG, MAG, and TIG skills (certificates in welding are preferred)
* 3-5 years of proven experience in fabricating fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
* Must have a high mechanical aptitude and be able to use various mechanical hand / power tools and general engineering equipment.
* The ability to understand engineering drawings.
* Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages and objects.
* Willing to work overtime at short notice.
* Must be meticulous with a high attention to quality and detail.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out proficient welding techniques (MIG, MAG, TIG).
* Interpret engineering drawings and apply fabrication or welding techniques.
* Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines on material in accordance with engineering drawings.
