In this role, the successful Welder/Fabricator/Fitter will provide both fitting and fabrication support on any projects necessary undertaken by the company. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting Engineering drawings in order to do this, alongside, equipment and product prototyping. In addition, you will also be responsible for the maintenance of a wide variety of Plants/Plant Equipment both on site and from the workshop. Finally, you will ensure safe practices at all time in addition to keeping accurate technical documentation as and when needed
The ideal Welder/Fitter/Fabricator will have previous practical experience within the Engineering sector as well as a background in Welding/Fitting/Fabricating or a related field. You will have experience within both MIG and TIG welding. In addition to this, you will be happy to work both from the workshop as well as on customer and client sites. You will also already hold, or be able to obtain Security Clearance (SC). Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
