Job Description
A well-established manufacturing business based in Northampton is looking for an experienced Welder who can weld to BS EN ISO 9606-1 and BS EN ISO 5817 standards. Along with a salary of £16.60 per hour (negotiable, depending on skillset), you will also receive:

What you’ll be doing as Welder:
You’ll be part of a busy, supportive team producing high-quality metal components used across the power generation sector.
Key responsibilities:
Tack and weld metal components to engineering drawings
Check the quality of parts before and after welding
Measure, grind, and fettle welded parts using air and electric hand tools
Support general workshop duties as required (training provided)
We’re looking for a Welder with:
Ability to weld to BS EN ISO 9606-1 and BS EN ISO 5817 standards (or similar)
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
A positive, can-do attitude and hands-on approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and attention to detail
Training and Qualifications:
You’ll complete a company welding test before starting, and once onboarded, you’ll be trained to BS EN ISO 5817 welding standard.
