Welder 

Leeds / Bradford

£19p/h
 36.5 hours per week – 4-day week – Mon-Wed 07:00am-4:45pm, Thursday 07:00am-4:15pm
 Permanent │ Full Time

We are now seeking an experienced Welder to join our team and support the production of high-specification pressure vessels and components, manufactured to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Welding pressure-rated sub-assemblies and high-integrity equipment
Working to strict welding procedures with high NDT success rates
Maintaining quality and achieving production deadlines
Producing radiographic / ultrasonic acceptable welds
Completing traceability documentation
Slinging and lifting large heavy components
Essential Skills & Requirements

Experience welding pressure vessels and pressure-retaining components
Proven ability to produce X-ray / UT-tested welds
Strong background in stainless steel fabrication
Competent welding in 2G position to approved WPS
Ability to read and work to engineering drawings
Core Welding Processes

You must be experienced in:

GMAW (MIG/MAG)
FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
GTAW (TIG Welding)
Pipe welding & open-root welding
Weld purging for stainless pipework
