MMA / MAG Welder
£18.79 per hour (£36,156 per annum)

Training Location: Doncaster
Permanent Base Location: Barton Under Needwood
Contract or Permanent Opportunity Available

Are you an experienced Welder looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential and specialist training provided?

We are currently recruiting for welders to join a growing team, initially based in Doncaster for training, before transitioning to a permanent working location in Barton Under Needwood. This role offers the opportunity to work on rail industry components, carrying out high-quality welding and repair work on manganese liners. You will recieve an additional 2 hours pay while on training in Doncaster plus milage.  

The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out:

MMA Fillet & Lap Welding (Vertical and Overhead positions)
MAG Butt & Fillet Welding (Vertical and Overhead positions)
Welding and repair of Manganese Liners
Working to engineering drawings and quality standards
Adhering to all site health and safety requirements

Requirements

Previous MMA and MAG welding experience
Experience welding in vertical and overhead positions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work safely and effectively within a team environment
Own flame-retardant overalls
Own welding boots
PPE Provided
Air-fed welding masks provided by the company.
