Workchain is currently seeking a skilled Welder to join our client in Brackley, NN13 on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Transport Manager this positions primary responsibility is to maintain a large fleet of containers and lifters with in house repairs and maintenance.
Immediate interviews and starts are available.
The role will be working on a 4 on 4 off basis, 6.00am to 6.00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Metal fabrication and welding of containers and lifting equipment
* Operate various hand tools to fabricate metal components
* Perform welding maintenance and repairs
* Conduct regular maintenance on various pieces of equipment
* Quality control on fabrication processes
Key Experience:
* Welding and Fabrication
* Have an experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally metalwork
* Have worked within a fabrication or workshop environment
* Be able to work as part of a maintenance team
Qualifications:
Ideally hold current welding certificates, or a basic qualification in any Engineering discipline
Hours of work are on a 4 on 4 off basis, 6.00am to 6.00pm.
The starting salary is £35kpa, with excellent company benefits.
