Job Description
Senior Salmon are looking for a Welder to join their reputable client in Shirebrook
Rate of pay: £14.00 to £16.50 PH – Overtime after 40 hours
This is a full time, temp to perm position starting as soon as possible
Responsibilities and Duties Include:
• Must be experienced in heavy industry, Fabrication and welding of mild steel from 2mm up to 60mm in thickness using MIG process
• Follow drawings accurately.
• Must be physically fit, the work can be demanding but varied
• Making small sub-assemblies to large bespoke machinery.
• Will be required to operate saws, OH cranes, drills, guillotines and press brakes.
• Some mechanical work will be involved but full training will be given.
• Working under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor.
• Must be able to work on own initiative and be part of a team.
• Manufacturing of recycling equipment
• Must be conscientious.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance expected
