Welder/Fabricator, Dundee, £18.50, Temp to Perm. Immediate Start
Join a reputable and established steel fabrication company, specializing in structural and secondary steelwork for the construction industry. This workshop-based role offers excellent long-term prospects and regular overtime opportunities.
Benefits:
* Hourly pay: £18.50
* Regular overtime available at 1.5x the hourly rate

Responsibilities:
* Carrying out MIG welding on staircases, handrails, and various structural/secondary steel items
* Reading and interpreting technical fabrication drawings
* Operating overhead cranes when necessary
* Maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced workshop setting
Requirements:
* Solid experience with MIG welding, especially using 1mm solid wire
* Ability to accurately interpret and work from technical drawings
* Confident working with structural steel components
* Overhead crane experience is advantageous but not essential
