Welder - West Lothian
We are currently recruiting Time served Welders to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing environment based in West Lothian. This role will see you working within a skilled team, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are consistently met.
Responsibilities include:
Carrying out welding in line with traceability, health & safety, and quality requirements
Following operating procedures to maintain weld integrity
Producing fabrications to engineering drawings
Using metal cutting equipment safely and effectively
Completing pre-use checks on welding equipment and reporting faults
Contributing to effective shift communication
Supporting continuous improvements across safety, cost, and quality
What we're looking for:
Time-served apprenticeship (essential)
Strong understanding of welding equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience in Pulse TIG Weld Overlay and Sub-Arc Welding (advantageous)
Strong communication skills and team-working ability
