Welder - £21.88 p/hr + OT + Travel | 26-Week Contract | Plymouth
Join one of the UK's flagship engineering programmes at Devonport Dockyard. We're seeking skilled Welders / Marine Fabricators to carry out structural repairs, modifications, and fabrication on warships and submarines.
🔹 Rate: £21.88 p/hr (inclusive) + OT + travel allowance
🔹 Hours: 35 per week (Mon-Fri, early Friday finish)
🔹 Contract: 26 weeks
What you'll do:
Weld, cut & assemble metal components to spec
Deliver high-quality work on ships & marine vessels
Work to strict safety & technical standards
What we're looking for:
Time-served with Level 3 qualification
Experience in marine or heavy engineering (Naval/Submarine background desirable)
Able to gain SC clearance / BPSS
