WELDER
Heavy Steel Welder – Night Shift
Lostock, Bolton | Permanent | £55,484+ | Immediate Start
We’re looking for skilled welders to join a dedicated night-shift team, working on heavy structural steel, 15–120mm plate, using FCAW and MAG. This is permanent PAYE work with guaranteed pay and overtime available.
The Role:
FCAW & MAG welding in all positions
Multi-run fillets, full & part penetration butt welds
Working from drawings, weld symbols & WPS
Maintaining high-quality standards on heavy steel projects
Overtime at enhanced ratesThe Shift:
Mon–Wed: 18:00–06:30
Thurs: 18:00–02:00
£24.25ph PAYE – £55,484 basic + overtimeWho We’re Looking For:
Experienced welders with a strong background in heavy steel
Skilled in FCAW & MAG (flux-core a plus)
Confident reading drawings and working to fabrication standards
Competent with pre/post heating and crane operations
Able to inspect welds and perform repairs to maintain qualityWhat the role offers
Stable, permanent PAYE with competitive rates
Work on significant heavy steel projects across the UK
