This role would suit an experienced IWT/EWT & CSWIP 3.1 certified welding professional with recognised experience who thrives on maintaining exceptional quality standards. Adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with welding standards and procedures, acting as Responsible Welding Coordinator.
Lead planning data for welding activities in SAP and coordinate welder audits.
Identify and resolve welding issues using structured problem-solving methods.
Develop Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and standard operating procedures for new and legacy programmes.
Support production engineering and design teams on welding matters, driving improvements and change.Requirements:
Proven experience in Technical Welding position with excellent knowledge of Weld procedures
IWT/EWT certified or above
CSWIP 3.1 certifiedLocation: Stockport

Salary: £60k - £65k
