Job Description

Welding Lecturer Cumbria Up to £40,267 p/a + Relocation Package Full-time, permanent We are currently working with an education provider in the beautiful Lake District area who are looking for a Welding Lecturer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The position would consist of 37 hours of work per week, and would involve delivering both practical and theoretical training to Welding & Fabrication learners (at level 2/3). 75% of the teaching hours would be practical workshop-based delivery on MIG, TIG and MMA welding (and a little bit of fabrication), and the remaining 25% would be in the classroom. The starting salary would be up to a maximum of £40,267 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and you would also get a Teacher's Pension (with employer contributions of 28.68%) in addition to a holiday allocation of 45 days (plus 8 days for Bank Holidays). Relocators would be considered, and there would also be a relocation package of up to £2,500 to cover property deposit, moving costs, etc. To apply for the role, you MUST have: -A welding qualification (or codings) -Hands-on MIG, TIG and MMA welding skills -A passion for passing on your welding knowledge While the education provider are ideally looking for someone who has a teaching qualification, they would be more than happy to fully fund the right candidate through a teaching qualification on the job if they don't already have one.
