Job Description
Are you an experienced Welder or Fabricator looking to step off the tools and share your skills with the next generation? Or are you already delivering training and want to join a supportive, people-focused organisation? This could be the perfect role for you.
We are recruiting a Welding Tutor & Assessor to join a well-established Midlands training provider known for:

The Role
As a Welding Tutor & Assessor, you will:
• Deliver high-quality practical and classroom-based welding training
• Assess learners both on-site and in the workplace
• Support learners across apprenticeships, short courses and Skills Bootcamps
• Contribute to curriculum planning and development
• Maintain industry standards and promote safe working practices
Who We’re Looking For
You may be:
• An experienced coded welder or fabricator looking to move into teaching (training provided), or
• A qualified tutor/assessor seeking a stable, rewarding role in a respected training environment.
Essential:
• Strong industry background in welding/fabrication
• Passion for developing others
• Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable (but training can be provided):
• Teaching (PTLLS/AET, DTLLS, Cert Ed)
• Assessor qualification (TAQA/ A1/ CAVA)
