Can you develop, lead and manage the welfare for students in Years’ 9, 10 and 11? Do you have experience liaising with parents and building positive relationships? If so, read on! About the role – Welfare Officer I am working with this secondary school in Barking & Dagenham who are looking for a Welfare Officer to join them in September. The successful candidate will liaise with parents about the general well-being of their children and their attendance. They will work in cooperation with the heads of years to deal with any sensitive topics or behaviour issues. The school are looking for a candidate who can assist the head of year to develop, lead and manage the welfare for students in Years’ 9, 10 and 11. The successful candidate will be overseeing the running and management of the Pastoral/Removal Rooms where they will also be involved with the overall monitoring of year groups.
