Welsh Baccalaureate Lecturer - Further Education | Cardiff & Surrounding Areas We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Welsh Baccalaureate Lecturer to join a Further Education setting in Cardiff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support learners in developing essential life skills, critical thinking, and employability as part of the Welsh Baccalaureate programme. The Role: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in the Welsh Baccalaureate framework to learners aged 16+ Plan, prepare, and assess coursework and assignments in line with qualification requirements Support students in developing skills in enterprise, global citizenship, and community participation Monitor learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student engagement The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A degree in Education, Humanities, or a related subject area A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, QTLS, or equivalent) Experience teaching the Welsh Baccalaureate at FE or secondary level Strong communication, organisational, and mentoring skills A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner development We Offer: Competitive hourly rates, paid weekly Flexible and long-term placements across FE colleges in South Wales Ongoing CPD and professional support from our dedicated education team An opportunity to make a meaningful difference in post-16 education If you are passionate about supporting learners' personal and academic growth through the Welsh Baccalaureate, we would love to hear from you.
