Pay: £166.32 per day
Location: Across Secondary Schools and Colleges in South Wales
Contract: Full-time and Part-time opportunities available (with potential for long-term and permanent roles)
Empowering Learning Cardiff is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Welsh Baccalaureate Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and A-Level within secondary schools and colleges across South Wales.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire learners through the Skills Challenge Certificate and the wider Welsh Baccalaureate framework-helping students develop essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning in preparation for higher education and employment.
Role Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Welsh Baccalaureate and Skills Challenge Certificate curriculum.
Support and assess learners across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Post-16 levels, ensuring they meet course objectives and deadlines.
Promote independent learning, employability, and personal effectiveness.
Collaborate with school and college departments to integrate cross-curricular themes and projects.
Provide feedback and guidance to help students achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject area.
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).
Proven experience delivering Welsh Baccalaureate or Skills Challenge Certificate at KS4 or A-Level.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
Right to work in the UK and two recent professional references.
