Welsh-Speaking Behaviour Support Coach – Primary | Full-Time Location: Bargoed, CF81 Daily Pay: £89.38 (£13.75 per hour) – paid weekly via PAYE Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a calm, caring nature and a passion for helping young learners thrive? A welcoming Welsh-medium primary school in Bargoed is looking for a Behaviour Support Coach to work closely with pupils who need extra support managing their emotions and behaviour in the classroom. You’ll be: Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies Delivering tailored interventions and mentoring activities Supporting class teachers to create a positive learning environment Helping pupils re-engage with learning through encouragement and consistency Logging behaviour incidents and contributing to support plans Who We're Looking For This role would suit someone who: Is fluent in Welsh (spoken and written) Has experience working with children – in schools, youth work, coaching, care or mentoring Is calm, patient, and confident when supporting challenging behaviour Can build strong, positive relationships with young learners Is committed to making a lasting difference in children's lives Experience in a school isn’t essential – if you have the right values and transferable skills, we want to hear from you! What You’ll Need (or Be Willing to Work Towards): EWC Registration (School Learning Support Worker category) Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Two recent references If you don’t have these yet – don’t worry!
