Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Use the Welsh language confidently to support bilingual learning and communication.
Plan, deliver, and support age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and development.
Ensure a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and families.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to promote children's progress and wellbeing.
Maintain accurate records of children's learning and development.
Comply with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.
Requirements
✅ Essential:
Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care, Learning & Development (or equivalent).
Fluent Welsh and English speaker (oral and written).
Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth.
✅ Desirable:
Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
Food Hygiene Certificate.
