Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant Wanted – Primary Education
Location: Various schools across across Neath Port Talbot
Full-Time or Part-Time | Long-Term Placements Available
Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for supporting young learners?
TeacherActive is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to join our fantastic team and work within primary schools across the region.
Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time hours, we have long-term placements ready to start immediately or in the near future!
Your Role:
Supporting pupils in a Welsh or bilingual classroom setting
Assisting the teacher with classroom activities and lesson preparation
Encouraging pupil engagement and language development
Providing one-to-one or group support as needed
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written)
Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred but not essential)
A positive, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young learners
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
