Welsh Speaking Classroom Supervisor
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (No Weekends!)
Contract: Full-Time and part-time opportunities
Start date: September the 1st

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Welsh-speaking Classroom Supervisor to support secondary schools in the Cardiff area. All lesson materials are provided – your role is to deliver and supervise learning in a calm, engaging environment.
✅ What You’ll Be Doing:
Lead and supervise classes when the teacher is absent.
Deliver pre-prepared lessons – no planning or qualifications needed!
Keep pupils focused and on task throughout the day.
Promote good behaviour and support positive learning outcomes.
Offer assistance to pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) as required.
Maintain a safe, tidy and well-organised classroom.
Provide feedback to teaching staff about the lesson or any issues.
We’re Looking For:
Fluent Welsh speaker (essential).
Confident communicator with a calm, approachable attitude.
Good classroom or group management skills.
Adaptable and dependable with a genuine passion for education.
Awareness of safeguarding and child protection (full training provided).
Ideal for People Who:
Are on a gap year and want to gain hands-on experience.

Have coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth work experience.
Are Welsh-speaking students or graduates looking for flexible work.
Want classroom experience before pursuing teacher training or PGCE.
What You Need:
Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (we can support you with this).
EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration – guidance provided.
Two professional references.
Ability to travel to schools in the Cardiff area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
