Job Description
This thriving and successful WLM Primary School, based in Llanelli is seeking an experienced WLM Foundation Phase Specialist to join their team. This wonderful and much loved school benefits from a hard working, enthusiastic and committed teaching team who work in partnership with all parents to ensure that each child reaches their full potential. Positive values such as self-worth and respect for others are championed alongside excellent academic knowledge and skills.
The successful candidate must have proven experience of teaching within the Foundation Phase and possess an encouraging and empathetic approach to education and learning.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment;
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for the needs for all student ability ranges;
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
Maintain discipline;
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development;
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area;
Staying up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum;
Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening.

You must be a FLUENT Welsh Speaker and have the ability to teach through the Medium of Welsh
Primary Teaching Experience
