The Role:
As a Welsh-speaking Nursery Assistant, you’ll be helping nurture curious minds, spark creativity, and support early development—all while speaking the language of the land! Whether it’s through stories, songs, or snack time, you’ll be an essential part of each child’s early journey.
Your day-to-day might include:
Supporting children in play and structured learning
Communicating confidently in Welsh throughout the day
Helping with playtime, snacks, and plenty of paint!
Working closely with nursery staff to keep things running smoother than a bedtime lullaby
What You’ll Need:
Minimum of 6 weeks' experience working with children (in any setting—formal or informal)
Fluent Welsh speaker (your lullabies and Lego instructions are legendary!)
Enhanced DBS (Don’t have one? No prob—we’ll help you sort it!)
EWC registration (or the willingness to register)
Bags of enthusiasm, patience, and creativity (glitter optional, but encouraged)
