About the Role
Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh Speaking Primary Teachers to work across a range of Welsh medium Primary Schools in Cardiff. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about supporting and inspiring children to achieve their full potential.
Assignments are available for Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, ranging from short-term supply to long-term placements.
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons through the medium of Welsh, in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff and parents to support the whole child.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following school policies and procedures.
About You
We are looking for teachers who are:
Fluent Welsh speakers (essential).
Qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
Experienced in teaching in Primary Schools (Foundation Phase or KS2).
Knowledgeable of the Curriculum for Wales and confident delivering lessons in Welsh.
Adaptable, reliable, and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Passionate about raising standards and inspiring a love of learning.
Desirable (but not essential):
Previous experience supporting pupils with ALN.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
Experience in long-term placements or covering classes independently.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
