Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant - Caerphilly (KS1, ALN & Behaviour Support)

🕒 Full-Time | Temporary (Until Christmas, Potential Extension to July)
💷 Pay: £90 per day (potential increase depending on client rate, experience, and qualifications)
We are currently recruiting for a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Caerphilly, working within a Key Stage 1 (KS1) class with a high number of ALN and behavioural challenges.
This is a full-time, temporary position, starting as soon as possible, and running until Christmas, with a strong possibility of being extended until July.
About the Role:
Supporting pupils in a KS1 classroom with a focus on ALN and behavioural needs
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
Using Welsh fluently to support language development and instruction
Requirements:
Fluency in Welsh (Essential)
Proven experience working with children, particularly in ALN/behavioural support
EWC Registration (Education Workforce Council)
Enhanced DBS check (on the update service or willing to apply)
A proactive, patient, and resilient approach to working with childrenBefore You Apply
