About the Role
As a Welsh Speaking Unqualified Teacher, you will:
Supervise classes in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with pre-prepared work.
Deliver set lessons and maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
Support students with additional learning needs where required.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, in line with school policies.
Ensure the classroom remains organised and safe.
Report any incidents or challenges to school staff or department heads.
What We’re Looking For
Fluent Welsh speaker with excellent communication skills in both Welsh and English.
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
Adaptability to work in various school settings.
A positive attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people.
Awareness of safeguarding and the importance of maintaining a safe learning environment.
Requirements
A passion for education and commitment to supporting pupils with diverse needs.
Transferable communication or leadership skills (e.g., from coaching, mentoring, or youth work).
Willingness to complete required training.
Enhanced DBS check (assistance provided).
EWC registration (guidance available).
Two recent references.
Ability to commute to schools in the Cardiff area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
