Are you a fluent Welsh-Speaker with a passion for supporting children in their learning and development?
A welcoming and inclusive Welsh-medium primary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025. The role will involve supporting pupils across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, helping to deliver engaging lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
You'll work closely with class teachers to support learning activities, offer one-to-one and group interventions, and help create a positive, language-rich classroom environment. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a genuine commitment to nurturing young learners in their bilingual journey.
What We're Looking For:
✅ Fluency in Welsh (spoken and written)
✅ Experience working with children (school or childcare setting preferred)
✅ A caring, adaptable, and proactive attitude
✅ A willingness to work flexibly across different age groups
✅ A current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
