We’re looking for Team Leaders to oversee snow clearance operations across airside areas during the winter season. This is an ad-hoc, flexible role ideal for those in construction, agriculture, shift-based work, or anyone who is semi-retired or self-employed with availability for short-notice shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate a small (Up to 6 Operatives) team of snow clearance operatives during winter weather events.
Ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance at all times.
Be available for short-notice, ad-hoc shifts as required (including nights and weekends).
Attend three mandatory training days between August and December.
Work in extreme weather conditions when needed.
Shift Information
This is emergency response work – hours will vary.
Shifts can be days, nights, weekends, or holidays based on weather.
Flexibility and availability at short notice are essential.
What You’ll Need
A full, manual UK driving licence (essential).
Proven experience in team leadership or supervision.
A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
A zero-tolerance approach to health & safety practices.
No unspent criminal convictions – a DBS check will be required if successful.
To Qualify for Airside Clearance, You Must Provide:
5-year verifiable work/education history.
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Proof of National Insurance number.
Proof of address dated within the last 3 months.
Ideal for Candidates With Experience In:
Groundworks, landscaping, plant operation, construction, farming, or similar trades.
Self-employment, flexible/zero-hour contracts, or part-time shift work.
Semi-retired individuals seeking occasional work.
