Job Description
New Resource Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturer to recruit a skilled Wireperson. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that values teamwork, high-quality work, and employee development.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Production Manager and Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for wiring and assembling electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies. You’ll be working in a clean and supportive production environment, contributing to high-quality builds that meet engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
*
Assemble and wire sub-assemblies to provided specifications, drawings, and documentation.
*
Collect and check kits of parts against issued documents and report any discrepancies.
*
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area.
*
Carry out fault-finding and rectification as required.
*
Support continuous improvement and uphold quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
*
Complete a set percentage of work orders within the planned build time.
*
Ensure builds are completed to specification with minimal faults reported.
*
Maintain quality and safety standards in line with internal procedures and regulations.
Requirements
Knowledge & Experience:
*
Ability to interpret mechanical and wiring diagrams.
*
Understanding of electrical components and assemblies.
*
Familiarity with safe working practices and tool use.
*
Previous wiring experience is essential.
Skills:
*
Strong attention to detail.
*
Practical, methodical, and logical approach to tasks.
*
Able to work to targets in a fast-paced environment.

Maintain a safe and organised work area.
