Job Description
Wireman – 11kV+ (UK Wide | 12-Month Contract)
We are seeking experienced Wiremen for ongoing 11kV+ grid and substation projects across the UK. This is a 12-month contract supporting a range of HV build and connection works.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Installation of HV control panels, switchgear, and protection systems
*
Wiring to DNO specifications and schematics
*
Work on substation fit-outs, grid connections, and commissioning support
*
Adherence to site safety rules and DNO standards
Required Competencies & Experience:
*
Proven experience working on 11kV–132kV substation projects
*
Familiarity with wiring standards from major UK DNOs:
*
UKPN, ENWL, SPEN, SSEN, NPG, National Grid
*
ECS/JIB card (preferred)
*
Full UK driving licence
Contract Details:
*
Duration: 12 months (outside IR35)
*
Location: UK wide
*
Rate: Competitive day rate
*
