Job Description
Position: Electrical / Wiring Technician
Location: Banbury
Salary: £30,000 per year
About the Role
Our client, a leading manufacturer of specialist machinery, is seeking an Electrical / Wiring Technician to join their team in Banbury. This is a hands-on role focused on electrical assembly, control box wiring, system builds, and electrical and mechanical fault finding.
Key Responsibilities
Read and work from engineering drawings and schematics
Assemble and wire products to specification
Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
Test and final check completed systems
Work in line with ISO processes and Health & Safety standards
What We’re Looking For
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate
Strong electrical wiring and fitting skills, with mechanical assembly experience
Confident reading and interpreting electrical diagrams
Understanding of pneumatic assemblies
Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Industrial equipment servicing experience (preferred)
Personal Attributes
Proactive and solutions-focused approach
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Strong team player with good communication skills
Self-motivated, practical, and hands-on

£30,000 basic salary
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
